Nice interview. I ave always thought that psychedelics were self limiting. I stopped using them in the mid seventies, I think. I’d like to eat some mushrooms again, but I can’t be bothered sourcing them.
Dennis was also right about the effect, LSD certainly helped convince me to stay out of Vietnam.

Was a hard core drinker for 25 years. Tried quitting numerous times. I found Kratam about a year ago. Started eating it on Friday and Saturday nights and was able to quit drinking. Had no interest in doing it every night like I did drinking. There is utterly no comparison between the damage alcohol did to me and kratam. Score another one for the government. Luckily enough time has gone by that I have no interest in returning to the bottle. Would be nice to have something on the weekends that didn’t harm me and wasn’t addictive. Maybe I’ll seek out some shrooms 🙂
