I just wanted to let folks know I will be traveling for about 12 days. First, some time at Catalyst Athletics (we are taking about 25 trainers and clients down for some OL), the we are headed to Belize. This is mainly a “good God, I’m almost finished with the book” trip but we have some interesting things lined up. More on that when I get back. You should have an amazing time. I used to go to Ambergris Caye years ago for diving and snorkeling before it got cleaned up and became popular. I imagine that it is still breathtaking. I’ll never forget catching a Conch and putting it on the fire, cause we didn’t know what to do with it…LOL We know better now. Have a great time…thanks for bringing back old great memories!

I was in Belize this spring. As a former British colony, I found the food situation a bit scary at times (very heavy on processed foods and mutant fats). On Ambergris, grab some grilled whole fish at El Fogon and make sure to befriend Coconut Leo. He’s the absolutely shredded older gentleman doing handstands on the tops of coconut trees.
Careful of the kool-aid down there.
The diving is spectacular in Beliez. I stayed where you’re going two years ago and had the best time. Enjoy the R&R. Go play ‘chicken bingo’ if you get the chance.

If you have time to fit it in, you should check out the cave of the crystal maiden – Actun Tunichil Muknal, it’s inland a little near San Ignacio.
