The cert was awesome…thanks Robb! I have a plethora of topics to Google now and can’t wait to learn more. Here’s to pseudo science!!!

Hi Robb,
I’m a freshman Biology major at Notre Dame and I’m looking around at research opportunities for the summer. Do you know of any labs studying paleolithic nutrition that have internships for undergraduates.
Robb Wolf says

I do not know of anyone off hand other than prof. Cordain. What I’d recommend doing is find some research in an area you like…vit d, ketogenic diest, whatever, and track down the primary authors on that material. Voleck, Seyfried, Veech…there are TONS of fantastic labs doing very interesting research.

Awesome seminar Robb. The comedy alone was worth the trip.

Robb, you a rock star! Thanks so much for coming to One World. The seminar was fantastic and all the folks from my gym who attended are raving about it.
Hope to see you and Nicki next week at CA, but if not, I’ll see you at the Black Box! Much love to you both!!!

Rob, it was so cool to see you after 20 years. I couldn’t believe it was you! You look great and still have that drive you had in high school, which is great. I look forward to seeing you at your box and kicking your ass at some workout, but I need about a year to get ready, hahaha. I do want to totally come to your box and work out though. I learned a bunch from your class and hope to apply it towards our clients at Crossfit Initiative in Reno. Thank you and I hope to get some of your meals to keep me on track.

AJ!!!
It was soo cool to see you!Let me know if/how I can help you get your gym going. We have done everything wrong at some point so we can certainly help you avoid some pit-falls. BTW-Nicki’s dad lives in Reno so we will see you guys sometime soon!

Hi Robb,
The seminar at One World was definitely a life changing experience. The changes that some of your clients have gone through were amazing. A lot of the material made sense and it was in English. Thanks

Thanks Robb for another awesome seminar! I signed up thinking it would be a nice refresher since my first seminar with you last year and walked out with tons of new and useful info!
Robb Wolf says
Ritu-
It was great to see you! Keep up the great work you are doing.

Really great seminar, Robb! Thanks! The material was really well structured, I thought. The only thing I’d like to hear more about is the evolutionary perspective on water intake. Devany had something to say about that recently – I wonder about the science behind it. Also thanks to Nicki and Gregg for setting me straight on some certification knowledge.

Robb, the seminar was AWESOME! I started CF in November, and began a 90 day Paleo challenge 1/4. I have been strict about everything…except the dairy. You will be happy to know, however, that today is my first day to be dairy free! I will stick to it for the next 30 days at least, and will pay attention to feeling better, performing better, and looking better. I am so glad that I took the opportunity to see you. Ian and Allison Carver own the CF box I belong to, and Ian is always raving about your work. Thank you for sharing your ideas and wisdom with us! I have tons more to learn; but I now feel more comfortable talking about the Paleo lifestyle with people because of Saturday. I can’t wait to read your book! =)
Robb Wolf says
Kaysie-
Tell the Carvers i said howdy and let me know how the 30 days goes! Thank you for coming out on saturday!

FYI Crossfit Initiative is owned by TY Jones. I wish I could open my own box. May be in a couple years?! But thank you and that would be great to see you guys here in Reno!!!

Just to echo what has already been said by others, I had a great time and got a ton of useful, real world info. Coming from a science background, I can appreciate the depth of knowledge Robb has and yet his ability to break it down so that anyone, regardless of science background, can understand the info is amazing. I intentionally didn’t do a CF Nutrition cert because of the Zone half and am SO glad I waited. Just the cortisol info was worth the time invested and I highly recommend this to anyone! Looking forward to the advanced topics with Mat. Now finish the book…..

Hey Robb,
I’m AJ’s wife, and I am more serious about this Paleo diet than ever. I learned SO much from your seminar! Thank you for being willing to share your knowledge with the world.
I have a few questions though. I had a really hard time the first time I tried to eat a strict Paleo diet. I felt empty and unsatisfied, and I was an emotional and hormonal wreck! and I was CRAVING dairy products like NO tomorrow! (I know we talked briefly at the seminar, and Paleo with a little Dairy is most likely my answer.. which I’m totally down with!) So, I gave up and went on to try something else. I started Zone, and got some of the premade high protein breads. I was feeling and looking great and seeing AWESOME performance results, but the Gluten thing REALLY freaks me out. So, now I am trying to get off all gluten products, and we bought a few things to “hold me over” (rice breads, corn tortillas, etc) I know it’s probably best to have NONE of that at all, but I have a really hard time having NO breads at all. Is that an addiction to the carbs? Any suggestions on other food sources that would maybe make me feel like I was “eating normally” without doing significant damage to my body? How long will I “withdrawl” if that’s what is happening? With what I have now (the gluten free products), I eat very small portions of, and make sure I have PLENTY of protein and some fat to balance it out .. Just trying to get to a happy medium..
Thanks!
