You might’ve had a huge change in health and life for the better from eating an ancestral diet. Or maybe you just have a passion for health and wellness. Either way, you want to share the wealth of health and help other people…
So what do you do? What’s the career path that fulfills your passion and can support your life?
I have a million ideas on health career paths… I go over a few in this video:
- Health coaching and my thoughts on this now and in the future
- The importance of the personal touch and building community
- Other career path options
- The risk tolerance of not just you but your parents as well
- Your priorities and desired quality of life
Great post. There’s a typo in the copy at the top of the page though. I’m pretty sure you meant “partner’s” not “parents”. 🙂
Thanks Robb. This is a great, realistic look at a topic that I’ve considered heavily and still keep coming back to. I like the look at what this could mean going forward and the efficacy of small group coaching. I also wonder, though, if Big Insurance and Big Pharma are going to fight such moves as they have with low-carb bloggers and the like giving “medical advice.” I’m thinking of the problems with the diabetes groups that Steve Cooksey at Diabetes Warrior went through, in particular. Like you said, it’s going to be a Wild West scenario for a while.
Very informative, thanks for sharing this

Not sure if you are already familiar with this…. International Nurse Coach Association (https://inursecoach.com/mission-vision/) – backed by the American Nurses Association.
Just thought I’d share for any RN’s or ARNP’s out there interested and because nurses rock and are well positioned for this role! You should have Barbara Dossey on your podcast 🙂
Keep up the good work!
THANKS!
What was the remote coaching platform you mentioned? I am a Physician Assistant but I am interested in getting into more of a Wellness Coaching line of work. Thanks in advance
I really understand what you say, Rob. Because my boyfriend is also health coach. All is truth
