Always enjoy hearing Paul Jaminet’s insightful opinions on diet and health. Having Robb and him on the same podcast is nirvana for the brain…
Paul said that some people on a low carb diet may crave sweets or other foods which is indicative of a deficiency in their diet. Funny that I do not find myself craving food period while in nutritional ketosis. I am wondering if there is a way to gauge the adequacy of someone’s diet intake based on their cravings.
Paul also said that the clarity that people on a ketogenic diet experiences is often just a starving, minimalizing and silencing of a bacteria that is causing a bacterial infection. I would like to think that ketone bodies themselves provide more clarity to the brain based on the research done on this topic.
