Day 2
Challenge: Create a cabinet in your kitchen and a designated area in your fridge and freezer for YOUR food. This will be especially helpful if you have kids, a significant other that’s not ‘playing’ the paleo game or roommates. Your food is for YOU and their food is for them. If the food isn’t in your designated space –DON’T EAT IT – it’s not yours!!
Amy’s Two-Second Takeaway: If you don’t “like” black coffee – you don’t like coffee. You like cream, sugar, butter, coconut oil or whatever you’re putting in it to “like it”.

I love the comment here about not liking coffee. I recently came to realize that very thing. I can drink my tea without adding anything. With coffee, I like stevia and maybe come cream depending on my mood. I am finding myself drinking more tea than coffee now 🙂

I can’t really agree with the coffee thing. If I used that argument I wouldn’t like anything. I can’t eat a steak without at least a little salt and pepper on it. Ditto for chicken, pork. What is bacon without all the other ingredients, just another piece of pork. Don’t try to get me to eat a salad without dressing. For someone like me my biggest problem is excess sugar. I tend to eat a lot of sweets and drinks loaded with sugar. When I eliminate that much sugar, the little bit found in a couple of tablespoons of dressing is nothing. Especially if it gets me to eat much better food choices.

The cabinet specifically for my food is very helpful, always reminds me that I should not eat what my roommate prepares, and keeps me focus on my 30 day challenge.
