This is just one example of what working with a Paleo Dietitian can do for you! Kristyn and George tell their story and say thanks!
Hi Amy,
I hope that you are well. I wanted to just check in with you because it’s been a while since I last spoke to you. I wanted to let you know that George and I are still very successfully doing Paleo. We have it down to a “T” now. We take turns cooking as it does require being on the ball with food prep. We purchased a ¼ grass fed cow and 10 anti-biotic free, chickens.
We were so happy to find a farm that provided this! I have never felt better in my life before. I lived my entire life with digestive problems. I remember going to the pediatrician as a child and the Dr’s trying to blame my constant tummy aches psychological issues. They honestly tried to send me to a shrink – thank god my Mom would have none of it and didn’t follow through. I suffered day in and day out with an upset, bloated and uneasy stomach – not to mention often left me feeling low on energy and lethargic.
Paleo has relieved all of the symptoms that used to be so common in my everyday life. I have since had little fall outs where I have eaten something like pizza or pasta and right away have experienced those feelings again. Once realizing that gluten had been so rough on my system it made it pretty easy to say ‘NO WAY’ to any gluten again!
I have leaned out and feel great. My workouts are faster and I am stronger! I have the energy to keep pushing myself and I set goals that I know I can attain. The best part of all of this is that I feel fantastic in knowing that I am providing my fiancé and myself the best possible nutrition. I am healthy and happy knowing that I am not allowing harsh antibiotics from meat or evil sugars into my body! My body is my temple and only I can control how I nourish it!
Thank you again for all of your help! I learned so much from you!! You really helped kick us off with this new way of life!!! Without the help that you provided us – showing us each what to eat and how to balance our meals I think we would have been lost!!
Thanks again,
Kristyn and George

That’s so inspiring–and I totally relate to Kristyn’s constant stomach aches. I, too, had constant a constant upset stomach as a child (the school nurse always told my mom it was psychological/emotional), and one that expanded to heartburn and indigestion as I got older. I cheated with two ginger snaps the other day and had heartburn not too soon after.

I had a few bites of a velvet cake and was regretting it no more than an hour later :/
I agree with Stacey this is super inspiring! and a lot of it is so familiar, which makes me ask, where can I send my real life testimonial?
Amy Kubal says
Brissia! Send your testimonial to me [email protected] – Let’s hear your story!

Great…Great story and really inspiring. I am new to beginning Paleo so you may see my name pop around w/ alot of questions. “Lo Siento” One question…How long before results can be seen. I don’t want to “psyche” myself out. I’ve been on Paleo for two weeks now. I swear that I feel like someone stuck two 18 wheeler batteries in my back. I am sleeping better and seem to have more energy. (I’ve read that this is a testimony for everyone). I’m just wondering how long do the results take to began?
Amy Kubal says
Curt, everyone is different as far as results go. It’s also going to depend on where you started from and what your diet and training look like. Lots of variables here. Stick with it and results will happen!

Its took me 3 weeks to see and feel results, like Amy says it depends, but once you get results its BAM! and its only going to get better form there on out so keep it up Curt and ask away, asking is what got me to a great way of living now 🙂
