30 Day Guide to the Paleo Diet
Want some extra help? Have you been trying Paleo for a while but have questions or aren’t sure what the right exercise program is for you? Or maybe you just want a 30-day meal plan and shopping list to make things easier? We’ve created a getting started guide to help you through your first 30 days.

Rob,
I have been an athlete for my whole life and competed at the highest levels of Bjj and Wrestling. Now days it sounds like I’m more on a training schedule like you. Can you break down a perfect diet and day to day foods. In your opinion of course. I’m taking for a Bjj or MMA athlete. Would be a great podcast topic!
Robb Wolf says
Adam! “Perfect” would be tough as folks are fairly individual. I’m doing my yearly training update next month and will take a stab at this concept.
RICHARD LAWRENCE says
I am going Paleo, but have a few questions, since you say the rules can not be broken! Is cider or wine vinegar acceptable as an ingredient in a cooked dish? Is duck fat acceptable to cook with. Specifically, is duck fat a valid alternative to coconut ghee, as specified in a number of paleo recipes? I live in Cyprus and have a couple of mature olive trees. I get the olives milled into oil sufficient for our family and a few friends. Can I use that even when a paleo recipe specifies coconut oil?
Squatchy says
Hi Richard,
Yes to all of your questions.
