Want some extra help? Have you been trying Paleo for a while but have questions or aren’t sure what the right exercise program is for you? Or maybe you just want a 30-day meal plan and shopping list to make things easier? We’ve created a getting started guide to help you through your first 30 days.

Great podcast with Dr Cucuzzella! (Longtime listener, first time responder. Rob you have taught me often, thanks!)
I’m a family medicine educator and a functional medicine physician. Nutrient dense, low carbs just works, obscenely simple and painfully underutilized. I’m interested in contacting Dr Cucuzzella re access to the handouts he is using. If that would be possible it would be great to not have to reinvent the wheel. Also wonder if he may have any youtube accessible videos of recent presentations. I’d like to share those with my residents.
Thanks again,
M Chris Link, MD

Hey Chris (and Mark),
I’m a first year (but old :)) FM resident and would LOVE to be able to access the hand-outs that Mark mentioned in the podcast as well. Chris – if you have them already, can you post somewhere that we can all get to them (I briefly looked over your website and didn’t see anything)? If not, then I can email Dr. Cucuzzella for that info as well. Thanks!
Squatchy says
Hey Martha,
I do not have the handouts, but feel free to email him about them, or I can email him and ask for them too.

This was a fantastic podcast Robb and I’ve shared it on all my SM. Very important to get the word out if we are going to change the way folks see their dinner plate.
Matthew Stewart says
I agree Robb, definitely one of the most important podcasts you have done. Kudos to Dr Cucuzzella, I know his work and success in running but had no idea about this work with diabetes. What a champion!
Craig Tankersley says
Dr. Mark does a great job of keeping it simple and to the point.. I’ll have to rewrite my health talk to include more of his comments and the South Park food pyramid. Good work as always!
Mark Cucuzzella says
Rob it was a privilege to be on the show. Sorry my computer “blue screened” at the end but I think together we made the case for teaching nutrition to Medical Professionals, how to work at a health care team and tailor the “prescription”, and the challenges and unknowns we are all trying to tackle. Obesity and Diabetes are still undefeated so on we go. Here are a few show note links since we were cut off before I could share.

Dr. C is behind the curve on the low-carb paradigm. The carbohydrate hypothesis of obesity has been recently falsified: http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/2016/07/nusi-funded-study-serves-up_6.html
Terry Thomas Ritter says
One inadequate study cannot trump a large patient population that have significant improvement. To post this as a refute of the insulin/obesity theory in light for Dr. C’s results is laughable and embarrassing. The measures some people will go to maintain their paradigm.
