30 Day Guide to the Paleo Diet
Want some extra help? Have you been trying Paleo for a while but have questions or aren’t sure what the right exercise program is for you? Or maybe you just want a 30-day meal plan and shopping list to make things easier? We’ve created a getting started guide to help you through your first 30 days.
These guys should come to New Zealand. We invented both electric fencing and refrigerated shipping. We have three dozen cattle on our seven hectares. There is a lot of carbon/ruminant/pasture science going on here, as well as practice. They might look up Lincoln University near Christchurch. Basically no CAFO’s in NZ, but we do have some poor dairy grazing practices, though.
OMD!!! Best damn episode yet. Insanely good. MORE of this. More of these guys. This and the latest episode (281) with Dr Sydnor are my favorite so far. Seriously so much great stuff going on in this episode. As the kids would say “All the feels.”. I listened to this while I was out for my walk and I just kept saying “Yes!” over and over again. Fantastic stuff. “Humans breaking the Nash equilibrium of evolution” — there’s a graduate thesis right there. Thank you so much for such an inspiring podcast.
I was pretty jazzed too! Thanks.
This is really fascinating. I am familiar with rotational grazing methods used on Polyface Farm but hadn’t really considered the environmental impact of this type of grazing. To be able to reduce the carbon footprint now is really timely given global warming and the sustainability of the planet. I love that there’s this organic carbon loop carried out by animals grazing on grass and that if the farmers and ranchers engage in this adaptive grazing correctly, it returns to the soil. I wish Russ and Peter luck with getting the word out because we need to replace the current system of concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) with this alternative grazing method.
