1 lb. Ground Beef
1 lb. ground pork (or pork tenderloin, cut into pieces)
3/4 c. organic beef stock or bone broth
1/2 Large Onion, diced
small green pepper, diced
1 Tbsp. Paprika
1 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp. Cumin
1/2 c. Chili powder
1 tsp. Garlic Power
1 tsp. Oregano
2 cans diced tomato
1 can tomato with chilies (or a 3rd can tomato)
1. Cook meats in beef stock,stirring to breaking up meat.
2. Once boiling, add onion, pepper, paprika, cocoa, cayenne, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano. Simmer until veggies are tender.
3. Add tomato with all juices
4. Simmer 2-4 hours on low. Stir every 20 mins or so, add salt and pepper to taste.
Notes: I like to add beer in place of the beef stock, however that is not paleo.
