Ingredients:
2 lbs Brussels sprouts
6 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped(toasting is optional)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Instructions: -Remove a few outer leaves of the sprouts and trim the stem. Slice
lengthwise, width wise or quarter and set aside.
-Fry bacon over medium heat until crisp, set fat aside
-Reheat the bacon fat in the pan(2 tablespoons of bacon fat should be
enough) until hot and add the sprouts to the pan.
-Saute until crisp-tender and bright green, about 3-5 minutes.
-Add the bacon, hazelnuts, salt and pepper and toss to combine.
Notes:
This is an easy recipe and you can add more bacon or hazelnuts depending on your liking.
