Thank goodness you are ahead of Tracy Anderson – I’d be very worries otherwise!

You absolutely deserve it! I can’t put my copy down. I can’t say that about many other books. It’s not only incredibly informative but also hysterical! Thanks Robb for all that you do!!!

That’s what you do as a consumer in picking what nutrition system to follow. You pick your pseudo science and stick with it.

Actually, I am impressed by the amount of science in your book. It just confirms that I am brilliant for following the paleo way of life.

So Robb, hopefully you’ve learned your lesson: hot chick in a bikini on the cover next time. Anyone else curious what the Carb Lover’s book recommends?

I thought that was pretty funny actually. Paleo on top but the carbs are still tryinig to sneak in.

I read a few pages Jake/Robb – in a nut-shell – lots of drivel getting people to feel good about eating lots of carbs.

Congrats Robb! I’m almost finished with the book and it’s fantastic. Love the Battlestar Galactica references :)

Who chose the font on the section headers though? Only bad part about the book!

Wow, and you made it there without Oprah? Can I just say the company you keep is ‘interesting’. Maybe you will need to snag a couple of celebs to keep this pseudo science thingy going.

    Robb
Great job on the book. Good information, well written, just the right amount of Geek-speak and what I never thought would be possible in a nutrition book, entertaining as well. I just want to know where I can get my decoder ring?

Way to go, Robb. And you’re number 3 in health and nutrition behind the China study and Michael Pollan. Except you did it without selling your soul so you’re number one in my book.

Just a heads up. Amazon overcharged me on the book by about $2. Their preorder price guarantee is supposed to lock in a lower price if the price changes, which it did. (Also, I ordered a month in advance and it was shipped only today.)

    • Dan
      September 19, 2010 at 5:00 pm

Actually, scratch that. I’m pretty sure the $2 will be refunded automatically and has to do with the fact that there was another item in the order which had already shipped.

I think I’m starting to grok all these hormones and enzymes – Robb is like Venus Flytrap explaining the atom to the gangbanger on WKRP http://youtu.be/hhbqIJZ8wCM

I saw the post on tim ferris’s blog, good stuff! cool you guys got to meet…I had a feeling it would be a matter of time. I have been reading Tim’s blog for a long time, figured he would find your stuff eventually.

Congratulations! Although I’d heard of the paleo diet years ago, I only started it earlier this summer. I have experienced numerous health benefits in a few short months, in addition to losing nearly 20 pounds. I’ve been reading good calories, bad calories, and it’s really criminal how low-fat dieting became the “norm” in the USA.

Will Paleo solution be available in digital download for ereaders like nook or kindle?

    Thanks!

It’s crazy seeing “Carb Lover’s Diet” in the same list. Was a pleasure to meet you Rob, and hopefully will see you in Denmark too.
