Great discussion on the things we can do to increase wellness with a thyroid condition, and I certainly appreciate it. What I’m always missing, though, is that last mile with autoimmunity.
Many authors and advocates with autoimmune thyroid issues have achieved success by various means. But has anyone returned their TBOab or TGab into normal range?
Robb has been fantastic in getting traction on solutions to autoimmunity. Now I think we need to look for stories of full clinical remission.
I have personally started at a TPOab value of >1300 IU and have only been able to come down to 440 IU (normal range <60 IU). Treating gut dysbiosis, plus Autoimmune Paleo with some supplementation, including prebiotics, probiotics, and creatine, have been the biggest help so far. I suspect that longer-term fasting now needs to play a role for further improvement, based on Valter Longo's research. But it would be great to hear from people who have truly completed the journey.
Thank you.

I have this book and love it. I don’t personally have thyroid issues, but as a health coach I found it very informative. And hearing about all of the symptoms made me realize that there are probably many people struggling that have never been properly diagnosed. It was the first time I have seen someone give a great explanation of the meds, diet and lifestyle all in one place. Elle’s story is so inspiring!
