To the family, friends and members of our special operations community who lost 30 members recently during a night operation in Afghanistan. Words seem terribly insufficient at times like this, but my thoughts are with the folks affected by this tragic event.

Thank you for posting this Robb. I just heard from one of my best friends that she will be deployed to Afghanistan next year. I just found the article on this through a search in Google.
I appreciate the risk that people like my awesome friend take that allows our country to be the best country in the world.

With much deep gratitude Robb that you would make a statement on this tragic event. Both of our sons served in Iraq (2 tours) and Afghanistan (to be deployed again soon) as well as my husband’s service to our country. Thank you so much for thinking of our heroes and their families. You are right, words just seem insufficient for something like this, but I thank you for your comment and thoughts to our troops and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are definitely with all of them. Thank you Robb.

Robb,
It means SO much that you posted this. In an age in which tribute to Amy Winehouse was littered all over Facebook but hardly a word of rememberance for the brave men who died defending our freedom, THANK YOU!

Your sacrifice will never be forgotten and you and your families will never be appreciated enough. Good journey, rest easy.
