Over the years, I have tried multiple different beliefs on how to eat and different workout routines with minimal success. Lucky for me, a very good friend of mine turned me on to your book, The Paleo Solution.
The Thanksgiving holiday was just a short memory away, and on November 30th, 2010 I made the commitment to eat Paleo. I took a before picture and at the time I was 5’9″ and weighed in at 190 pounds with a chunky body fat reading of 20%. During the first two weeks, I noticed increased amounts of natural energy, heartburn was gone, stress was lower, and I no longer had a sluggish feeling after meals. To top it off, my WOD times and the amount of weight I was working with were vastly improving.
After sticking tightly to the meal plans, I weighed in again (on January 18th, 2011) at 170lbs and was down to 15.8% body fat. I continued the Paleo way of life and on March 29th, 2011, took an after picture, and I weighed in at 160 pounds and 11% body fat. I continue to make great strides with my WODs and the amount of weight I work with.
The positive impact your book has made on my life is beyond words. I can’t thank you enough for making this information available for those that are dedicated to living a healthier lifestyle!
