Hey, it’s Amber the Web-gal here! It’s only hours before the start of 2011 here in Virginia. So, before I take my disco nap and head out to celebrate, I wanted to make a quick post letting everyone know about the new features we put up today. First and foremost, please refresh your browser. We’ve made a lot of improvements to the site, and you might need a little refresh to see them.
Fun stuff
-
We finally have a header, starring the most important figure in the Robb Wolf empire, Keystone the gato. Let us know what you think!
- The navigation menus have been consolidated and cleaned up.
- The sidebar is a lot less cluttered, and all the social networking options are in the header instead.
- We’ve got a new featured area in the header that will change every so often. Right now we’re showing off the free downloads we have from the book. Speaking of which, have you checked out the book resources page?
- I hope you noticed the photo rotator on the home page. We plan to add in more photos as we get them. Have an awesome photo you’d like to see up there (said photo should have something at least vaguely to do with Robb)? Please post it to Robb’s Facebook wall and we may feature it in the gallery!
- There are a couple other fun features: post thumbnails when you browse the front page of the blog or hunt through a category, related posts at the bottom of each post, and an email newsletter you can sign up for.
- Did you know there are many people who contribute to Robb’s blog? Besides Robb and Andy Deas the podcast master, there are several others including Mat Lalonde, Julien Smith, yours truly with The Paleo Table posts, and a few others here and there. So last but not least, when you click into a post, you’ll see the post author’s thumbnail at the top of the post so you can know who’s talkin’ at ya.
Coming very soon
Robb is feverishly working on the flow chart, and I have the forums just about ready to go. We’ve gotten a couple awesome volunteer moderators, but we could use a few more. Do you constantly hang around on Robb’s site and answer questions, give advice, and help out the newbies in the comments? You’re perfect for the job. If you are interested in helping keep an eye on the forums by offering support, making sure posts get put in the right place, and other such things, please let me know. As a thank you, we’re gonna create a page on this site featuring Robb’s superstar team, and if you help mod the forums, you’ll be featured there, superstar!
We also would love to hear your success story so we can feature you on the blog as a Real Life Testimonial. Has the Paleo solution changed your life, helped you get lean, get well, get beast, whatever? Please send in your story.
Happy New Year
I hope everyone has a safe and happy 2011. Ring in the new year right with a couple NorCal margaritas and a big hunk of protein. Happy new year everyone! And please give us some feedback on the new site features in the comments!
Looks awesome. Love the header.
Happy New Year and thanks to Robb and everyone who works so hard to keep all this amazing stuff flowing.
Take care y’all.
Chris
Wow, the new design looks awesome, great job!
I wish you a happy new year 2011!
We’re loving the new look of the website! Looks great… Hope you all have a Happy New Year! (The caricatures of Robb and Keystone are excellent, by the way.)

Looks great in Firefox for me but chrome might need fixing as its missing header and sidebar for me.
Great work on the Site
Happy New Year!
Oh nevermind its working in chrome.
You have a full plate of awesome going here. Keep it up!
I really dig the new color scheme, the cartoon and the fun features you’ve added. Looking forward to even more in the new year- nice work!!!
really like the new design, BUT be aware that animal-rights
activists won’t like the cartoon-Robby doing his experiments on a
cat 😉 btw: I know Robb would never do that and it makes him even
likable that he is a “cat-guy” < here we share the same passion
Dig it! Thanks doc!
Maybe Keystone needs some safety goggles too.
Amber did an amazing job! The cartoon is priceless! Robb in a freakin lab coat! haha obviously doing experiments on developing some sort of antidote that will allow him to return to 15 shots of espresso a day with no ill effects!! Caffeine is still life, no matter what the Deas says Robb!
ohh and thats one bad Gato right there!
Love the new website – looks fantastic! Way cleaner look and feel. Great transition.
Good stuff.
Seems to run better in my IE and it’s a cleaner presentation.
Thanks to all the robbwolf.com people, which includes Robb Wolf. 🙂
I love your new site! This reflects your personality so much more. Keep up the great work and call J when you get a second……..we need you in FL 🙂
Hey Amber great work on the website, keep up the good work can’t wait for the forums
Happy New Year Robb and Nicki!!! I love the new look of the site and I’m happy to see you were able to use the photos I took at the Potomac CrossFit Paleo Solution Seminar. Wishing you both the best in 2011.
Nicole! Happy NY to you! BTW, I pinged Amber to make the water marks VISIBLE on those, very grateful for your outstanding work and support.
Yeah sorry about that Nicole! I totally didn’t think about it when cropping the pics. Will stick em back in pronto!
Robb/Amber,
No problem at all and I love the new site design. Robb, hopefully we can do some more photos in the future.
Awesome job with the design, can’t wait for the forum!
Amber crushed it.
Holy cats! I love that new graphic at the top of the page. Really fun looking. I gave the book to my brother-in-law for Christmas hoping he adds some paleo recipes to the menu of his restaurant. We’ll see how it goes.
Can you enable subscriptions by email in feedburner? Thanks!
Alex, try it now. Sorry!
Love the new site!!
Good stuff. The new site has a nice feel, good color scheme and layout, and fits nicely. /High five Amber, good work!
Wow, the new layout looks amazing! I love it.
what I am really missing here is a bulletin-board. I would like to participate more actively in the discussion, but this is almost impossible with posting comments on a blog :o(
Robb,
Great new look and I look forward to more great info this coming year! Your book rocks!
David
