Hey everyone! Just wanted to direct you to a recent post made by Tim Ferris of Four Hour Work Week fame. Tim was kind enough to review the Paleo Solution and post an excerpt from the chapter on leaky gut and autoimmunity. Comments have been brisk! Check it out.
Not sure how many folks caught this but I was on Canadian television along with Greg Carver of Strength Box and the topic was evolutionary nutrition and exercise. Bryce Wylde did a great job drawing Greg and I out so we could share our perspectives on Paleo nutrition/exercise. MovNat get’s a nice plug in the piece as does Paleo Brands. Check it out!
#1 in Nursing!!
I have no idea how these categories play out but it makes for a pretty cool screen capture! Keep posting reviews folks! Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Amazon. These reviews help to sell the book to the broader audience of folks who have never heard of the paleo concept but would greatly benefit from it’s message.
Book Signing!
Tomorrow at Lyon Books in Chico, CA. The fun starts at 7pm. Since Nicki and Keystone will be there I’m guaranteed at least 2 people. The other 4 podcast listeners are strongly encouraged to attend.
NY City Signing thank-you’s
The rooftop book signing sponsored by John Durant, “Sister” Maggie Durant (you had to be there) Melissa McEwin, St. Peters brewery, the NY Paleo Meetup and WoolyPigs was a HUGE success. We had people come from as far away as Florida, Philly and Connecticut for a night of wretched hand writing, good booze and fun times. I am beyond humbled by the support and well-wishes for the book. Thank-you seems hollow and inadequate but it’s all I’ve got.
Next Stop: Denmark!
We are actually going to be home for a few weeks than it’s off to Denmark to kick off International Paleo Shenanigans!

Hi Robb. Love you blog and work. Is there a release date for the kindle version?
Ryan Murakoshi says
Congrats on the success of the book Robb. Your topping a lot of the categories out at #1, and my most recent check was #21 as an overall best seller. Only way to go is up. Congrats again.

In your face ‘The China Study’!
Pat Crofoot says
Interested to hear what restaurants you get recommended to visit in Chico. And take a dip in 1 mile for me!
Craig in Seattle says
Hi Robb!
Nice bit. One of the weird/gross things I get to enjoy at work is the (daily) explosive diarhea sounds and smells of my male co-workers. Ah, the joys of corporate life!
I am continuously amazed that people just keep on as if this is normal.
Best-
Craig

Are you planning on going to Sweden?
Robb Wolf says
Denmark this trip.
Bill Strahan says
Great book, Robb! This will be the book I give to people if I think there’s a chance they’ll abandon the grains and eat real food.
It was a quick evening read after picking it up at local bookstore. I walked in and asked “Do you have the Paleo Solution by Robb…” and was interrupted by the clerk with “Wolf?” You’re getting well known!
Time to invert your podcast joke. It’s no longer 6 listeners, it’s the 6 people on the planet who give a damn about this stuff and HAVEN’T listened to your podcast.
Knocking back between 200 and 300 grams of protein/day, bodyweight of 194, and lifting heavy things,
Bill
Robb Wolf says
Right on Bill!!

alright, craig wins for the best dubiously memorable post in recent memory.
robb – i’m on day 21 of trying out this insane-in-the-membrane “paleo” shenanigans of yours. it’s paleo with a tequila bias. tonight i PRd in two lifts, this weekend i ran a 5k with no prep (and I’m not a runner) and i think i can safely say i have not offended any co-workers with my bowel movements in at least 20 days.
Robb Wolf says
so…is it all worth it? ;0)
michele says
you’ll have to pose that question to the people who are enjoying not smelling my intestinal output.
including my strength coach at a certain box which shall remain nameless (coughsouthcoughbrooklyn) who had doubts about my plan to go paleo whilst doing a strength intensive program.
😉

Loving all of the feathers you’ve ruffled over at 4-hour work week! With all of the people that are on there with their negative comments, there are lots more who will be positively impacted by the information you shared.
Robb Wolf says
Yea, and it’s been about 80% positive. Good enough for me!
Alex says
Hey Robb,
What does the book signing in Chico entail? Are you giving a prepared talk or just posted up at a table signing books? Thanks.
Robb Wolf says
Alex- Very quick talk, possibly a little Q&A at the end.

Yay for #1 in nursing!! 🙂
As a nursing student, I can tell you that we are the ones that provide much of the patient education, including what to eat, when they are being discharged from the hospital. So the Paleo Solution would be a great resource for us!

Hello Robb- WHOO!!! Way to go Robb. I love your podcasts and I am a huge Tim F. Fan! I am a type 2 diabetic who struggles with food. I am currently doing Crossfit. Just by changing my diet I have dropped my daily blood sugar test by 30 points and I am continuing to go down. Thanks for all the good advice. Going to purchase the book today at B&N.
Robb Dodd says
I would love to read your book but there is no kindle version. What’s up with that?
Robb Wolf says
One month amigo!
Scott says
Hilarious that the China study is right behind you, Robb. You guys should publish the Protein Debate and get that to third on the list.
Robb Wolf says
that would be pretty cool!
Nezir says
Any plans of offering the book in an eBook format? (Kindle, nook, whatever)
