Robb, if you could only attend one event: either the PIAT seminar or Move Natural, which one would it be?. Also, would the PIAT seminar be helpful to the average crossfit guy who doesn’t coach?? I can attend the PIAT much easier but know NOTHING about it. Any advice would be most welcome…Thanks

Marc-
that’s a tough one given I have not attended either one yet. My gut sense however is if you are looking for program design an understanding of periodization, especially for sport, the PIAT might be your better option. If you are looking for coaching in specific movements and a big picture integration of not only training, but nutrition, and lifestyle…NovNat might be better. But again, this is flying blind, giving my best answer I can with limited info.

Marc,
If you’re interested in learning hands-on stuff about the powerlifts, OL, and programming GPP in the smartest way, the PIAT seminar is for you. It’s definitely focused on teaching the individual, not necessarily preparing one to coach others. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.

Thanks Dr. Smith, Thanks Robb. I would love to attend both. I totally appreciate the big picture Robb mentions. Garrett,I was hoping that the PIAT was what your description mentioned. Learning hands-on stuff about the powerlifts, OL, is just what I need. Not that MovNat wouldn’t be perfect for me too; it’s just way harder for me schedule-wise. The PIAT course description was a bit intimidating…… but I’m not afraid of the work.
Thanks again guys. So glad I stumbled the site Robb and I’m waiting on that book!
