Hy Y’all! I wanted to let you know about a few things cooking with the blog.
1-We should have contributions from Mat Lalonde and Bobbi Millsaps soon. They have some content they have been working on and that should be a great addition to the blog.
2-Podcast! I am crushed with emails. I want to help as many folks as I can but the email onslaught continues. So, instead of answering one email and haivng that disapear into the either, i’m going to do a podcast every 1-2 weeks. If folks REALLY have a burning question they can do a half hour or hour consult with me. If folks would make good use of the search function and FAQ damn near everything you want to know is covered or linked to from there…
3-Meal Planning! If you read the consulting page you will realize I don’t do meal plans. I find it fun like threading barb-wire through my nose. Despite my feeling on that however many people want meal plans and there are some hearty souls who actually LIKE to do it!! Egads! Here are three people I have worked with, like their work and can un-reservedly recommend them. BTW- I have no financial tie to these folks, I recommend them because I like and trust them.
Amy Kubal RD-
Amy is one of about 4 Registered Dietitians I have met who “gets it”. She is completely versed in Paleo/Zone concepts, an accomplished athlete and even has some ties to Prof. Cordain’s camp via some circuitous routes. I;d recommend Amy if you have a significant health issue you want addressed via meal planning. That said, she is right at home working with elite level athletes or helping folks look good nekk’d.
Kelly aka “The Machine” has an extensive background in competitive athletics and is currently a competitive Olympic Weightlifter. Kelly is familiar with all Paleo/Zone concepts and has trained in the Poliquin Biosignature method. Kelly can do it all but the strength oriented athlete might be a particularly good fit. Because of the Biosignature background Kelly can help with tough fat loss.
Melissa has “learned by doing” and has become righteously adept at meal planning. She understands the nuances of Paleo/Zone nutrition and is particularly adept at helping people find the specific nutritional approach that will work for them. If you need a little extra attention, Melissa might be your best bet.
I’m trying to streamline all this so I can generate as much material as possible and reach as many people as possible. I’d LIKE to post at least 3 quality posts on the blog each week. I’ve been lucky if I get 1 post every 2 weeks. The writing takes a lot of time because I’m usually not just linking to other material but trying to synthesize various ideas and bring some complex topics to a level anyone can understand and use. I’m also trying to get that damn book done! So, keep your eyes and ears peeled for the podcast, if you have a question make it good and it’ll likely get answered.
Ask me how many blocks you need and I’ll wish that a very large person does horrific things to you with an eggplant.

Robb,
I was wondering if you could just tell me how many blocks that I need?
HA!! Kidding!!
Thanks for everything that you do! Your hardwork, compassion and dedication in helping us all is very much appreciated. I got a ton out of your nutrtition cert this past weekend and will forever be grateful. I can’t wait to touch base with you in a month or so and let you know how the whole family is doing!
Have a great week!
Michele

Robb,
Great to hear you’re doing podcasts! Your dulcet tones will be a constant companion on my phone. Next project… RINGTONES! Or at least a brief “this is why you should do paleo, bitches” summary I can play to the donut brigade at work next time they take the piss out of my salads!
Seriously though, great to hear what’s coming up, and I hope the refocusing helps with the book(s).
Oh yeah, quick update – 10lbs mass gain so far (in 6 weeks) with no change in waist size / no loss of abdominal definition; average blood glucose over the entire month is 106 (predicting an A1C of 5.3%). I dunno, you’d almost think this paleo thing works! I’ll let you know when the actual A1C comes through, and how long it takes the diabetic nurse to pick her jaw up off the floor.
Take care and looking forward to the ‘casts and extra posts!
Cheers,
Nick.

Looking forward to the podcast! I commute 1-2 hours per day so the time can be well spent if you are riding along!
Question if you have a sec…
I have googled this but I’m having a hard time distilling anything usefull…
Low Oxilate diet for treatment of kidney stones.
I have a new client that is obese and is being told not to eat nuts or anything else that is high in oxilates. Do you have any input in regards to following zone/paleo and how it might relate to this situation?
Or point me in a direction to research?
Thank you!
Cody
