My husband and I had a chance to meet Jason a few weeks ago up here in the Portland area while he was giving a free lecture about his new book (which we got signed by the way!). He’s such an amazing guy and is so humble, his lifestyle views are exactly the same as ours. We are both in our 20’s and it’s hard to defend our lifestyle because a lot of our friends don’t understand it,they want us out at the bars with them drinking beer till 2am. It’s great to be a part of a community that embraces not only having a healthy body but also having a healthy mind. I can’t thank Jason enough and I can’t thank you enough Robb for everything you have done to bring awareness to this lifestyle. It has 100% changed the way I look at my body and the way I fuel my body. Keep up the great work!

Another great podcast and guest. I really dig the idea of having guests come on the show and share their knowledge with the masses. This is the kind of stuff that gets me to buy someones book later. If you share good and valuable info freely I think folks will buy your book as reference and to support your work.

I was so confused at the beginning and listened 3 times… the bunny ranch as a sponsor? huh? Hope that was a joke.
Robb Wolf says
No joke. Go back a few episodes for the back story.

Jason, in this podcast you mention how guys never sit around talking about how they are looking for a skinny girl. The morning after listening to this podcast my 15 year old daughter and her friend were in the back seat of the car talking. One of them said, “I feel so bad for her because she is so nice and pretty but all the guys say she is too skinny.” The other one said, “Yeah, I guess I am glad I am the way I am.” The other one shook her head in agreement.(“The way I am” means they think they are five pounds or so overweight when in fact they are both lean and strong.) I had to quietly giggle knowing they were experiencing exactly what you are saying.

Hi there, I subscribe to your podcasts (I listen to them when riding pillion on my husband’s motorbike) and I really enjoy them. I particularly enjoyed this episode and listening to what Jason had to say – I reckon I’m probably one of those women he talked about; years of over-doing it on cardio and existing on starvation rations. Plus, I’ve got Type 1 diabetes to contend with!
What you and Jason discussed about goals and perspective as well was absolutely fascinating. If only I lived in the States (I’m in Scotland), I’d be round to your gym tout suite (and yours as well, Rob).

Hey Robb – easy technical fix for an audio problem you’ve got:
When you do interviews the people are all at different volumes, which makes listening difficult.
Fortunately there’s a quick fix: drop your audio files on Levelator before you upload them.
See:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Levelator
Download:http://www.conversationsnetwork.org/levelator
Or: http://download.cnet.com/The-Levelator/3000-2170_4-143304.html
(I had to do this to your previous interview podcasts to make them listenable. Glad I did it — it was worth it. Thanks.)
