I am a strong supporter of Joel but I do take issue that he doesn’t pay for advertising. All of the public relations that he does takes and effort, at least, and that is clearly how he markets his farm.
On another note, I just read over at treehugger that synthetic meat, grown in a lab, is just months according to some scientists. Where does paleo land eating such meat?

So…he is doing something wrong by successfully conveying his message to the masses? Ben, help me understand this. do you understand the history of the farm and WHY he has received the attention?
On meat grown in a lab:
No one is considering all the infrastructure that goes into the lab, etc to produce this stuff. How can people not get that grass + Cow is the way to go?
Yeah I myself cannot wait to see what some scientist in some lab has once again done to my food, their track record is oh so good. Malnourishing humans since 1950. Hopefully we are looking at some nice E numbers wrapped in a convenient little package. Right next to the candy aisle.

The best thing we can do is probably support farms that are doing it right? Second best would be to grow our own food in a sustainable fashion when possible. Plant perennials instead of annuals?

Awesome video series. I am really excited that I just recently found a farm 30 minutes from my home that is all grass-fed. One of the farmers actually spent a year at Polyface learning the methods from Joel. I will be buying my first 1/2 or 1/4 cow this winter. Can’t wait!
