Just a quickie post here to let folks know about some new additions to the site. We’ve gotten a ton of requests for some of these, so it should make a lot of people happy! Enjoy!
- The book resources page has links to all the things referred to in The Paleo Solution including several printable downloads, nutritional breakdowns and links to online resources.
- We now have a shopping list, broken down week by week, directly from the meal plans in The Paleo Solution.
- The amazing Mary Boudreau Conover has created an index for The Paleo Solution. It’s set up with margins so you can print it, cut it down to size and stick it right in the back of the book. Endless thanks, Mary!

personally i tore through the book and thought it was just fine as is. but its very cool to see an author who is ready to be fully responsive to his readership. I dont know of anyone else who so quickly and thoroughly responds like this. awesome. no mercy.

Robb, could you get more recipes up for 1,000+ calorie meals please? I’m on a muscle gain program, and because I work during the day, I’d like to make my meals as calorically dense as possible.

Question on the shopping list: is that for one person, two, a family of four? It’s looking like 18 – 20 lbs of meat + eggs, etc. in the first week alone.

Yeah so you noticed that too, huh! What we did was just pull the list straight from the meal plan that’s in the book. So it’s the full amount of meat, eggs & veggies from ALL the recipes. You’d need to look at the recipes and gauge what you think you’d need for your clan. I just cook for two and it would be way too much for us. Plus we’d be eating leftovers if we made the full amounts… does that make sense?
One helpful thing might be to just focus on the types of foods rather than the amounts – that’s a solid grocery list! And lots of things like nuts, oils, etc, you wouldn’t buy every week, ya know?

Looks like most of the above links are broken. I’m getting a 404 error for the “shopping list”, “index for The Paleo Solution”, “Quick Start Guide” and “Food Matrix”. It would be great if these could be fixed.
