No, this is not a contradiction in terms, nor is this an example of Trailer Park Life taking a step back in time. This is our good friend Jules from BTB Fitness in Atlanta, GA busting out the Paleo Thanksgiving Jams!!
First up: Appetizers.
Next Up: Side Dishes.
Keep your eyes open for a Southern themed Paleo Cookbook from Jules. It will be AMAZING! I’ve had the good fortune of taste testing a few of her goodies on my trips to Atlanta and everything Jules cooks up is amazing.

The North has no trailer parks

Robb, Nicki! Hope all is well with you guys. Are you trying to say there is some sort of link between southern cooking and trainer parks?? :0)
Robb Wolf says
I thought it was trailer parks and tornadoes?

Can’t wait! I’m from the South and enjoy the foods although they are terrible for me.

By the way, I just started the Paleo diet and read your book and LOVED it. Where is that “Paleo Grocery list” you were talking about on this website? Thanks!

TOOLS!

Hey there it is! Thanks, Robb. I should look a little harder next time 🙂

What would my life be made of if not to remind folks of the FAQ/Tools!?

Were doing a southern paleo thanksgiving too(except for a little junk stuff just for my brother), well, just a regular paleo thanksgiving for us since were in South Carolina 🙂
Doing the usual turkey, and I’m going to make a duck too. Green beans, maybe some collards, mashed rutabaga, sweet potato casserole (mashed sweet potatoes, eggs, vanilla, pecans, cinnamon), etc., and I’m going to make the cauliflower and mushroom stuffing from the recipe on Marks Daily Apple (http://www.marksdailyapple.com/breadless-cauliflower-and-mushroom-stuffing/). So much good food, I can’t wait!

I was going to attempt to make a pumpkin pie (my first foray into paleo Thanksgiving fare. I wanted to use almond flour and coconut oil for the crust and to substitute coconut milk for the usual evaporated milk. I have agave syrup, but have no idea how much to use in place of the sugar called for in the recipe on the back of the pumpkin can. Any suggestions? A quick response would be great — since I need to do this today! Thanks!

Judy-
Just use sugar, preferable iMO to agave.
