This was a fun and delicious meal I put together after stomped the streets of Florence, Italy for a day. The soup was grass fed ground beef browned with carrots and onions. I then added the tomato sauce (pomodoro), an the rest of my veggies. The pork ribs started of in a pan on high heat to get a little browning and liberae soem of the pork fat. I then added carrots and onions to that pan and cooked it alternating between high and low. While on high I added about 1/4 cup (60ml) of water to steam the ribs, then I cooked them on low to re-establish the browning. The carrots and onions were caramelized and the whole meal was amazing, if for no other reason than the ingredients were fresh and top notch. This was a longer meal to cook, about an hour but we had a huge bottle of Lambrusco to work our way through so no hurries on this one!
