New years resolution has lead to 56lbs lost!

I started the year by getting on the scales….234lbs! I knew I needed to do something and fast! I had tried every diet under the sun over the years, and whilst I had lost weight, I always managed to gain it all back and more. This time I needed to do something that would be a long term lifestyle change. I decided to eat clean, and through that came across the paleo diet which I switched to 3 months ago. I also signed up to the local gym and have loved getting back into weight training, especially kettlebells. 6 months in and I am 56lbs down! I have at least another 30lbs to go, but I am gaining muscle in places I never knew it existed and have much more energy for my husband and children! Next mission is to get the whole family involved. Can’t recommend this lifestyle choice enough. Would love to come over to the USA one day and train in Rob Wolf’s gym! Thank you from sunny England :)

Nice! Go celebrate by having a slice of key lime pie. ;-) In all seriousness, it’s wonderful to see people set themselves a goal and work their way towards it.
